In 2023, Jay graduated from the Central Texas School of Taxidermy. Under the instruction of school owner and life-long taxidermist Jason Bynum, Jay started to develop the skills he now has today. In addition, Jay has had extended coursework with Jeff Herrick, owner of Bird Zone Taxidermy. Jay and his wife are based in Maize, KS.
